1. nerf missles please. - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Over a period of time, all games are slowly but surely beaten to death with the nerf stick. You have only to wait. Don't nerf anything, ramp things up if there is a problem.

2. Is EVE up? - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
Had same problem. But I could ping the server using the address shown in the post above. So I rebooted the computer, on the next connection attempt a box popped up from Norton asking if I would allow the connection. Norton gets weird sometimes if...

3. So CCP how are you going to decrease the travel time for people? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
The universe is supposed to be a big place. I think part of the EVE experience is this vastness. Take that away and you've not got much left.

4. whats out thier other than eve - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
No, nothing like EVE. Nothing. We can all hope for World of StarCraft, I guess, but don't hold your breath. Galactic Civilizations 2, "galciv2," is a strategy game somewhat like Master of Orion 2, but it is online only in the sense that final ga...

5. Why EVE is so disapointing to me - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
"They want us to PvP. To go to 0.0 where your 100M ship may blow up in minutes while it took you 20 hrs to mine the mineral for it." -- I agree that PvP is a bit overdone in this game and this is a case in point. However, the rule applies: don't f...

6. Is it fun to create pain? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
1. PvP should not be confused with genuine cruelty inflicted by psychotic individuals. There is a big difference between liking team sports and being a torturer in a concentration camp. 2. The popularity of griefing, ganking, scamming, and malign...

7. Learning Skills - How many people dont sub because..... - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
For me, the point really is, why are the learning skills there in the first place as skills that the player must spend precious skill time learning? I've read several threads on this topic and I still don't like the learning skills.

8. Finally Losing Inferest - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
"a kind of extreme thuggishness." Like this to some extent in all online games these days, and to an even greater extent in world events, business, politics, and social interaction. A world of thugs.

9. WoW Vs EvE - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Well, I have played WoW since its retail release, love it, whether it is a grind or not depends on what you want out of it. WoW is lots of fun. I've also played Guild Wars since it's retail release and now its expansion Factions. Also an excellen...

11. Lost Faith in eve - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Have faith that relief is on the way. Guild Wars Factions is coming out later this month, I believe, and that will soak up most of the scammers like a sponge soaks up water, because there is no better game to scam in than GW!

13. I think i'll stay in .5 and higher and never leave... - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]

15. Is Eve fundamentally broken? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]

16. DO terms not get off the Drawning board because of the term "Macro?" - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]

17. Are Caldari Ships Overpowered? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
